Greetings!

On behalf of the members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Omicron Beta Omega Chapter, Meridian, Mississippi, it is my pleasure to welcome you to our website. We are grateful for the opportunity to greet you in the spirit of Alpha Kappa Alpha.

Omicron Beta Omega Chapter was chartered in 1983 by a group of seventeen passionate, professional, phenomenal women. The chapter has consistently rendered service while making a difference in the Meridian community for more than 25 years. With a current membership of over 30 diverse, distinguished and talented women, our sisterhood boasts a sincere love for Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. We possess a strong sense of sisterhood and commitment to the community. Our chapter members share these attributes within the chapter and the community as they work to execute Global Leadership Through Timeless Service, as mandated by our International President, Carolyn House Stewart, Esq.

In 2012 and beyond, we will face new challenges that will require us to mount with renewed fervor and tenacity. We must keep open minds and maintain a willingness to do tasks differently to achieve maximum success. Each of us is a valued member, and collectively we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us.

We have assembled ourselves through the Grace of God to make a difference and we must continue that commitment. Even as we do more, we must  be mindful that there is always more that can be done. With God as our guide, we will continue to make Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. ‘supreme in service to all mankind’.
